This is how I started with Golden Age

Franz Kafka or Robin Sharma or Jose Marti or even Arundhthi Roy? No….my soul seems to give a solid answer when someone asks me whether my quench of writing was initiated by any of these writers. I love all of them, who instigated revolutions in the world with their pens...their pens had questioned about and at times had argued against to the ideals, Slavism, facts, god, ghost, and each possible realistic aspect in this world. They were courageous to bring the drizzles of realism to this world, which suffered rigorously from the disease of superstition. As a realist myself I follow their foots especially I love Ms.Roy for her bold way of writing and I always wonder how her pens could only express thousands of emotions in a single phrase. However, I would say none of these writers initiated my quench of writing…yes….it was Thamima Anam a writer from Bangladesh, who directed my soul towards the light of writing on the realities.
I was 16 years old when my brother brought me Anam’s book ‘Golden Age’. This book was basically about a family’s story during Bangladesh war. This Novel brought the reality of Bangladesh war into my eyes….the whole novel illustrated about how a mother’s life was changed during the period of war and about the war’s psychological impacts in the normal mass living. Foremost what I liked in the novel is that Anam didn’t talk about the political changes and she was inspired and worried about the average people’s lives and their worries during war...This subject was quiet related to me as I too was a civilian in Jaffna during the civil war and I knew how much war can pain people. Rohana the major character in the novel was flourishing and inspired me to read each word without even missing a single word.
As to what Anam says, Rohana was a widow with five children who refused to remarry. One day, some Guerilla freedom fighters entered to their garden and hided some weapons by making a bunger and after few months later, they came and brought the weapons with them. However, it became an unforgettable incident in their life…some military members noted the bunger in the garden and asked Rohana why the bunger is there. She said that they wanted to make a well and the same question was asked from her elder son as well. Very luckily he also said the same lie what Rohana told without even knowing that they asked the same from her as well…however, they managed to escape from the situation.  This incident in the novel reflected the situation in Jaffna…Indeed the situation seemed to be identical. I remembered the bunger life, bombings, fear, displaces and the all desecrations during the war in 1995…In Rohana’s family, some of them were already joined in the organization of freedom fighters and some of the others were influenced by some Guerilla fighters..Yes, it was the same situation in Jaffna. I worried how desecrate is that the young blood is spreaded and wasted onto the roads of mother land. The reality is that whether it is North or East, war is war….war has some unique desecrations….and in reality; war excessively impacts on the people’s lives and on other living beings too.
With an interview with BBC, Anam told that she lives in London and she didn’t want to go to Bagaladesh again as she would remember the past days if she goes and lives in Bangladesh. It too reflected the same feeling to me…migrated younger generation of Jaffna doesn’t want to see the dark side and they never accept that Jaffna will be a peaceful place to live.
Anam’s Golden Age seems to come first in my mind whenever someone talks about writing and books. Her writing was flourishing for me and the reason might be that I am very much related to the concept what she was inspired to. For her, Monika Ali’s Brick Lane and Sadi Smith’s white teeth (earlier books that talk about the impacts of wars) seem to role model her writing. However, I never tried Monika Ali or Sadi Smith. Instead, I started loving Arundhathi Roy’s writings. I started wondering at her boldness and the fire that spreads from each word her pen outlines. I remember her saying about the trueness in city life in an article that enchanted me very much. ‘I don't think it's true of people who've grown up in cities so much, you may love building but I don't think you can love it in the way that you love a tree or a river or the colour of the earth, it's a different kind of love’. I love her views and this can be the reason why I hate city life and always doubt on the artificial faces who smile only at the material things and never bothered about their soul esteem. I am too in the process of understanding the views behind ‘Robin Sharma’s who will cry when I die’ and I don’t know when I will make it.
For me, I love Arundhthi. I love Robin Sharma. I love each possible writer who expresses realistic views. Each writer is unique and they are different in their ways of looking into aspects. Even, I will decide my own way in my journey with the guts of welcoming both flowers and stones in my way…but Thamima Anam comes in mind first. At my sweet golden age sixteenth, she inspirited me towards the concept of realism in war and her views imitated and reflected my own feelings very well. She might not be the best writer to this world…but she is the ever best inspirer to me.

The pens that bleed forever

What motivates a writer to write? What derives a writer to come up with bunches of ideas, viewpoints, and criticisms? In my view, it is very uncommon for a writer to keep quiet in-front of injustice. A writer’s pen becomes extremely expressive and sharply tear the components of injustice, and in further probe the causes of phenomenon. In fact, an emotional-sensitive writing plays a key role in bringing-up the facts to the light and seek means of actions that will stand strong to conclude practical solutions. In pertinence to this, a dramatic increase in the ‘dark journalism’ can be commonly observed and such dark journalists expose the real scenario in the dark spots inspected due to wars and other disasters. On the other hand, slum exposures articulate the sad facts about the slum destinations in the remote African and Asian nations. Contrarily, some writers have even narrated their desires and dreams about the Utopian states that remain imaginarily equal to the garden of Aden, and this where the perfect democracy is dreamt to prevail. After the concept of ‘expressive realism’ was introduced by Falubert and blazac in the writing literature, it seems that many writers have realized how to express naked truths without the boundaries of fantasy and romantic exposure. Arundhathi Roy is such an expressive realist who stands against to the myths of terrorism, gender’s play, and governmental responsibilities. She is just a best example that a writer’s bold words often get attacked by the waves of criticisms. In my view, writing can’t either be feministic or masculinistic, and it is just that it should either catch up a realistic view or fantasied narration. Such writers who persuade expressive realism in their articulations often find-out vulnerabilities that do prevail in the social systems and they question against to them, and of course their questions often get criticized, hinted, and unanswered. But their pens will keep on bleeding until the whole world turns to be Utopian.

Win the game of life

At rimes. Life gives us the most challenging days. Things that were alright before go wrong, things that seemed so easy to achieve become the hardest, things that mattered a lot once become pointless, our perceived logics become illogical, things that denoted high values suddenly start to contradict, people who were so closed and meant a lot in life become strangers, and at last all the dramas, arguments, anger, and all the exchanged expressions become pointless. It is just the game of life and no other word can denote the nature of life other than ‘game’. It is just a test given to see how far we stay strong, how far we fight to sustain our unique originality, and how far we play the game. Nothing lasts forever. In the end, it is us who have to face all the reality of life, play the drama, and win the game with confident. People may come in and stay in our lives for a short time to teach us something but in the end, it is all about us. It is all about us whether we make a path to the journey or just hang on others’ shoulders without the guts to face it alone. Let’s be open, enjoy the days with good people and use the opportunities whenever possible, learn things from the hard times and hard people. At last let’s be us, No dramas, No endeavours to impress anybody, No toxics, No expectations, and No to all negative feelings and people and they are meant to be out of our lives. Yes to the courage to face the game of this life and we are born for a reason on earth, we each are unique so that no others can devalue or value us. Let’s play our unique roles, let’s learn our lessons, let’s improve and win the game of the life our unique way.

Want a world out of the waves of fakes

It has been a long time I visited my blog. It means I have not expressed myself in my words for ages and yes, it is very difficult to find words always. We have bunches of things to express and yet we don’t know how. Long time ago, I discovered a quench in my soul that directed me towards a greatest degree of achievement but nowadays I see a fire inside me. I am searching a life that I dream about, which is full of achievements, ambitions, joys, and a greater degree of independence. I am in the stage of realizing that life has its own optimisms and obstacles, and there are many factors, which prevent us from doing what we love in our lives even at the times when we are madly in a need for such aspects. Many unexpected incidents make us tired, irritated and at most times angry. It seems that this world is full of fakes, and so artificial. There is a saying that if we find ourselves hard to sustain in this world, then probably we must have made for a different world. I am now in the process of creating my world of optimism. I see a lot of poor faces in Vanni on the way when I travel to Jaffna. I see they live in small shelters or houses that are made up of coconut leaves. They had gone through a nightmare and of course, yes they have nothing to lose further. I like the innocence in their faces and this is only where I find no fakes. They remain innocents and my subconscious feels a hungry in their souls. Yes, this is for achievement and definitely, they are in a search for something. They have to search something every day even to survive. Even a single word would come out from their heart and they just don’t spoil their lives with fakes. The only aspect that I doubt about them is that whether they remain poor just because they are innocents or just because they are poor, they remain innocents. However, I find many people just as me who have the same fire inside, and truly, nothing is wrong in creating a world for us if we find that this world is not fitting for us. Regardless of the fakes, and the obstacles thrown at us, we have bunches of things to do in our lives. We are here to do something that we do love and no one else has the rights to prevent us from doing so. Life has a biggg meaning and there is just one opportunity to live it. Nothing is best like creating a world of desires and dreams when we find us hard to cope-up to the waves of fakes and obstacles that come in our way.

Again... a short foot print of my life

Ah....I am back to my blog after a very long time....as I too have entered into a life that is stuffed with some hard schedules. It seems I am going on the right track though I feel bit of bored at times...yes, everything has a successful and meaningful end, which I believe in my life’s too....Nothing has a perfectionism and an everlasting behaviour in life....My short remaining in my hometown in the  last two months was quiet flourishing and memorable. My new teaching experience, my lovable students, fun and all the memories seem be enchanting...my first teaching experience, all my students who have now become my good friends, funs that we had in the classrooms...all such memories remain green in my mind believing it as another important period in my time...a new career in which I have an absolute advantage for my future  and for my foremost dream of starting my own business. Mmm...I am too slightly entering into my new business opportunities, and to a new career with an absolute chance of achievement. My short remaining in my hometown too reminds me about the past, that lovely life we had once upon a time, about my mother, her dreams, her death, how days went critical when she was hospitalized, and about one of my uncle who doesn’t survive at the moment in the world...everything comes into my mind..yes, nothing is going to everlast other than the lovable memories that our souls leave and remind in each stages of life. Mmm....this is not just about my family....I too remember how Jaffna was some years back..how people suffered...how they endeavored for their freedom...how many people died and now how it has turned to be a painful memory. Again, I like to mention about a story of a woman whom I met during these two months....yes she is pretty...she used to tell me that her husband lives in Colombo...however, I was quiet keen to understand that something seems wrong with her. Yes, she lived in Vanni..she has lost her husband and her daughter during war..now she just stays with her mother and her second daughter. I could do nothing for her other than I shocked at that news. So, my short staying in Jaffna has given me a lot of memeories...both delightful and painful. I also should mention about my sister’s daughter who is just about two years and the naughtiest things that she has done to me whenever I open my laptop. Mm....now I am preparing my life for a new beginning believing sincerely that I am going to achieve all my dreams. This is again a small foot print of my life...I know there are many more that I will learn in future...there are more birds to come into my life..whatever it is, I know I am going to get it.

Gift of being guiltless

Source: elfwood.com
It seems time is passing quiet fast and the things of course have changed a lot. I am now listening to everything that happens around me both with my concern and without, taking note of everything, learning on the realities, worrying at them, at times accepting them as they and at all instances, am being quiet. There would be no other best thing in this world than being what you are and to get the ones who still love you with your weaknesses and to make a lovely life with them. When I talk about the reality, I do really doubt how many people actually showing their real faces when they pass us on a road, when they smile, and at all cases there is a possibility where two or more people meet. I am bored of looking at these artificial faces who smile for money, status and for other material things. Two months ago, I had been in Jaffna my hometown; I was actually looking for the innocent faces, the real smile they had and for the people who were with me in my past and the beautiful memories that they left. However, it has taken time for me to realize that the Jaffna in my mind was there several years back, what is being there now is just a place, and the guiltless has gone far away from them. But I know, this is not a thing that can be criticized because they all are made to change like that and yes, now I even have changed or most probably, I am made to change like that. I now have learned how to smile, walk, and talk and to do everything in an artificial way and this cannot be complained at all because this world doesn’t allow real innocent people to be such always. But I do remember, it is something like a small dot of light in a dark night, I met a girl in a bus when I was in Jaffna two months ago, who was about sixteen or seventeen years old. The bus was crowded and later, the woman who was sitting near to her seat had left and that girl touched my hands and told me to sit there. I just travelled around twenty minutes in that bus and she started talking to me like a person who knew me before. She gave me some peanuts, she talked about everything, about her family, how they came to Jaffna and about many things, and she was a pure village girl. As to what she said, she was in Vanni and due to the war, they displaced to Jaffna, and she had lost two of her sisters in war and now there are only three people in her family. She told that there was a best friend to her who looks just as me, and now having no contacts with her due to that they are separated due to the war. She had written the O/Level examination and told that she really love to study further but there was a serious shadow in her face, which doubted whether she could do it as they even suffer to make having their lunch everyday. I just got her number; I know I cannot help her now but in future will see if I can help her, I said bye and got down from the bus and till the bus went so far, she was smiling at me. I am sure that she was sad to say bye for me, a person who just talked to her for twenty minutes. Mm.but I don’t know whether she will be the same after some years later also, will she? Will this world allow her to be so?

A look at women in war and war literatures

Google image Jansi Rani
Time to time, wars occur in this world regardless of penchant of any living being on this earth and at most times wars are forced. In very early days, homo-erectus who were the earliest generation of human-evolution had fights with other animals and the only purpose behind the fights was to get food and it made no harms to the environment. But later on, the evolution itself urged needs for fights and the behind reasons also started growing. When the stage of human evolution turned to be homo-sapiens from the stage of homo-erectus, these small fights also became wars since the reasons had been turned to be ambitions focused. But it is not a thing to be said proudly that it is a sign of evolution as very obviously, each war owes desecrated records of stories and each drop of blood which is spoiled in the roads was used for creation, then this world would have been somewhere else. But here what I want to tell is that the word war itself is seen as a fact that is more supportive to masculine gender. The traditional literatures related to wars criticize feminine as much vulnerable to wars or as reasons for the occurrence of wars. A very popular traditional Tamil literature ‘Ramayana’ illustrates a woman called Seetha as the reason for the war occurred between Rama who was the king of Ayothi in India and Ravana who was the king of Sri Lanka. Though the literature explicitly says ‘Seetha’ as the reason for war, but when going deeply into the literature it can be observed that the prime reason was the ‘haughtiness and dominance of Ravana who was the king of Sri Lanka’. In my view, whenever wars occur, it happens due to two reasons which are the advantages taken by the dominant side and the vulnerable aspects of the other side and it can be simply said due to the ‘cheap mentality of human beings’ and their inexpensive perception which is ‘they can dominate the whole world’ which will never happen. As the best example  ‘Hitler’s German as the heart of the world’ concept can be considered. So when a person or people mislead with some specific advantages that they have got, it is obviously harmful to the people who don’t have it. Thus from this harmful side, always an opposition is influenced with a specific leadership and this is the ultimate point where wars start. But all the war literatures focus much on stimulating ‘heroism’ which is only consecrated to masculine or they criticize women as factors which are so far away from war or much vulnerable or even as reasons for the occurrence of wars. Let’s take the Vietnam War literature; it only focuses creating heroism for the American soldiers who were sent to Vietnam against communists. What literatures try to criticize about women in war is only on how they were harmful to the war, how they were used as motivators of men in war. But the reality says it different. According to Gillian Courtney in the article of Contribution of women in revolution of America, it is mentioned that a lot of women made significant levels of contributions to revolutions especially it rewards women such as Margaret Cochran Corbin and Mary Ludwig Hays who directly contributed to the victory. Even in the eastern world, women such as Jansi Rani can be rewarded in the top position for the revolution against Slavism. But I think the very traditional Tamil literatures talk much about women and wars. Literatures such as ‘purananuru’, and ‘kalithokai’ have given significant importance to women and they say young girls gave high priority to marry the soldiers and a mother’s story was quiet popular in puranauru and the story is short enough as follows. A mother had seven children and she had already lost her husband in war. So she decided to send her children for the warfare and according to her decision, six children were sent and they were killed by enemies. Then also she sent her last child which was an infant and it also was killed and alas, she went and died. So I think very traditional Tamil literatures have given a good space for women which truly lacks in the modern literatures even. Also the other thing that war literatures forget to talk about is the normal people’s lives especially on how they were treated by dominant parties, how painful was their bunger lives and how their blood and energy were spoiled. But Golden Age a novel by Thamima Anam gives an excellent output outlined on normal people’s lives and their circumstances occurred during Afhan war. Though war is a perfect desecration, by all the means, war literatures must arise and they will help others who were not affected by war for an understanding on how painful it is and of course it will be a good realization on truths. The only fact that can be said proudly about anyone who fails in the war is that at least they were not cowardice and did something ambitiously and yes in reality, women do a lot.

In my view, inconsistency and the reasons for why it exists

Very recently I met a person saying ‘discrepancies must remain in this world’. I was really shocked and asked why it is so and his reply was “if everyone has money, then there will be no rich or poor people in this world. People who are rich work hard and that’s why they are rich and others are not” this was his opinion. But does it seem to be the only reason as that friend perceived? I do agree that all rich and popular people in this world are hard-workers and because of their hard-work only they could achieve such a position. But does it mean that a poor one not having any dreams to become rich and not working hard? Actually lower class or blue collar people are the ones working much hard and very sadly they get lower income. They work for today, live for today, looking to solve today’s problems and that’s it they are happy on it. But I think this might be the reason for why they remain poor for the whole life and if they also think about tomorrow, they would try to earn more but the certainty is that these people are much happier than those who are rich. Anyway in my view, there are four major facts influencing in the aspect of discrepancy in such a way why this inconsistency exist in this world. First thing is that there are people who always want this discrepancy to remain and they take advantage of vulnerable people or societies, they ensure their domination with some specific advantages they have such as power, money and status or whatever. Second fact itself is the vulnerable societies, they may want to overcome the problems they have but they can’t or they need to work hard to achieve it but most of the times, all their efforts will despoiled by dominators. Third fact is there are people who always take or habitually make benefits by standing between these two parties and they act like helping to those poor ones but actually not, at times they might be the representatives of dominant parties and what becomes their plus point is that they are very good at making people to believe at them in their ‘double-dealing business’. The last and least fact is that some of these vulnerable or poor or despoiled societies not knowing about what they have really loosen or how they have been despoiled or they know it but not trying to do anything as they are tired of working, as their efforts are wasted at each stage where they put their soul to improve them and as alas they have no hopes in that their lives also will be lighted one day. In a same city, some people’s worries may be on how they can make them to shine in a party, some may worry on how to earn more, some may worry on what to do next and some may even doubt on whether they can have their breakfast or not. I see the needs are decided by discrepancy, behaviors, life and life-style are decided by one particular aspect which is ‘inconsistency’ in this world and the way how people are treated get changed according to their classes. Anyway it is not to say only this particular area decides the life; there are things that may change the life and why not the whole world so will believe everything will change considering change is the only thing that has no end forever. But it is not logical to expect dominators to change their views, mentality and to have good hearts understanding the feelings of people who owe less or no power, resources and status or whatever the factors making influences in a fact call lobbying with other parties. So I think a change must be initiated from the side that has a need of improvement or development and then only existing inconsistencies might at least have a move towards equality.

Only to have good memories

I am on my blog after a very long time seeing it is nothing specifically on my mind to write on. But obviously I didn’t write for more than one month and was really rushing with my studies. This seems to be the important stage of my life. Every day new faces, different experiences, dreams and learning from it. Each and every second of this life is precious as they are not going to return anymore whether they make me happy or not. It was once upon a time when people’s life was only limited to some close friends and only within some places such as their work-place and home. But now companies’ even seeking for personnel who are multi-talented and concept of being an ‘all-rounder’ has become crucial. So this pushes you doing a lot. When you are to do a lot, you need a lot of people who will be helping on it. But obviously people helping and at the same time they make considerable level of inconveniences. It becomes really hard to find what they actually thinking but their mouths say different words with a smile. Psychology only can be used to discover whether a person lying or not. But nowadays people are smarter than they were some years back and they know how to be steady even when they are lying. I would like if someone can invent a machine that actually tells what the other person thinks in the mind. I am writing it because I have had some experiences during last month with someone whose behaviors are hard to predict. Anyway each person has a good side as well another that seems so hard to predict. Only thing that can be a solution for everything is to understand and accept both the good and bad sides since it becomes not so logical to expect a person to be perfect at all. As I mentioned earlier, time will never be returned so it is better only having good memories. Even this minute in which am writing, also cannot be got again. I had almost nothing in my mind when started writing and in the middle I remembered something that happened few days back and it has automatically dragged my fingers in the keyboard to write on.

Are we so reluctant (from a Tamil’s perspective being a Tamil myself)

Being a Jaffna Tamil, I’ve been proud and will be for the whole life because us is the only society that still successfully survives with all kinds of circumstances, wounds and all unforgettable tearful memories of war. In any corner of the world, our people are there and other than some desecrated stories, others are doing well. What I meant by ‘desecrated stories’ is that most of our guys are surviving in such jobs which are really not suitable or not up to their standards. Even most of them find it as a ruin of their ‘self esteem’ and a painful way of living but what to do? They have spent a lot on going to such countries and of course they have lost a lot. Anyway they have to earn and this is one part of the ‘western Tamil society’. Other part remains somewhat green and it contributes those who had gone there several years ago and have stared their own businesses. It is strongly encourage able since these people don’t depend on anyone else and is good sign of achievement while being a war affected society. But what really lack with their business is that they are just satisfied with earning more than enough dollars or pounds or whatever but are failing in building good branded businesses. Might be because we are habited to think inside a small circle and it really stimulates a negative view on being creative. Here the war cannot be a reason since I am talking about those who had already gone abroad and enjoying a very comfortable life with ‘self employment’. If I have not mistaken, most of those people are involved in businesses such as’ supermarkets’ and ‘restaurants’. I do really happy that they are doing well, earning good profits but what if they do it in a large scale and brand it properly and adds some value to our society too? From each country, there are some guys who lead industries and they add values to their societies. Inside Sri Lanka also the same thing applies. What we do is we just complete our degrees and even masters and looking for a company to give a job, we do get it and staying there until the retirement and. I guess we are so fundamentals, so far away from entrepreneurship, so reluctant to think out of the box, so reluctant to keep our pairs of eyes to see this world differently and now we are in a position to think about it. Isn’t it?

Yes. You can achieve your dream….

Dreaming is an awesome experience. We do keep on dreaming for a promotion for the whole life being stuck in the same position. Sometimes we might be desecrated to sit there until the chair gets collapsed. Why? Is achieving a dream that difficult? Then how thousands of people could have already converted their dreams into real? There is no secret other than ‘hundred percent trust’ and ‘hard work’ behind their success stories. Take any leaders of the world. Mostly they might have born in remote villages somewhere in the world. No enough food, no technology, no entertainment, not enough money to even spend for their basic needs. Their only asset is ‘hard work’ and most importantly they have trusted in ‘things might change and one day they also can achieve’. Whenever you don’t have a specific thing or you have discrepancy, you get desire on it. If you don’t have money, you get mad at it and start working on gaining it. Have you ever thought that, if you really work hard, one day you also can become a boss? Everyone must dream to the utmost extent based on their ability and not to the threshold level. But I think major barrier to our lives is our own perceptions. We all do have our own perceptions and most of them are negative. At times, we feel ‘we cannot become successful’ or ‘How can I do that job’. But when we realize it is nothing for us or we are really better than we perceived, sadly the time would be gone. No one else to put the blame other than on our own heads. No option will available other than worrying. So don’t think you are nothing. You can do a lot. Try new things fearlessly. If it fails, learn from it. But try again. You might not be proud at you because you might not have made any good effort up to this minute. But start thinking proud of you just because there is no one else like you in the world. Don’t waste your time in worrying on who you are, what your background is, whether you are ugly or whatever, be positive. Just believe you can become a successful person in future. First of all, trust in yourself. That trust itself will lead you towards a green future.

Thanks to my hometown

Again my vacation went in Jaffna. I could feel as i was staying with my mother. It was something like reminding 'i have to do something' and was a great opportunity to think about those faces and a life that i have almost forgotten. Anyway whenever i go to Jaffna, it reminds something, encourages me to work hard and yes i become so energetic, pleasure and optimist. Staying in jaffna is really a blessing. It brings an awesome feeling of belongingness such as 'am staying with my people', 'am breathing the air of my hometown' , 'am in a place where i have memories of my life each and everywhere i go'. This feeling you can't get it anywhere in the world even in the paradise. Now my soul is delighted, encouraged and peaced. This vacation has become an opportunity that allowed me to relax, to realize what i am now is not what am suppose to be, to make my soul full of peace and positive energy. Thanks to my hometown. Thanks to those memories that encourage me to work hard.

Please……. don’t read this but do it if you are crazy

My Dog VS cat

My dog Jimbo really cares much about his society. He is a modern Hitler and working hard to achieve his dream which is ‘One day dogs will dominate the world’. Especially his strategy towards handling my cat is brilliant. He doesn’t want me giving bones to my cat ‘Bingo’. He tries to be the hero of my home and ruler of Bingo my cat.

On the other hand, Bingo cares much about her ‘cats’ society’. She is solemnly against to that dogs dominate them. Especially she tries cutting the nose of ‘Jimbo’ at each chance she gets.

So I decided to make an end to their fight. I arranged for a small debate with a condition that whoever fails in this debate must become slave to the other.

Now the probabilities are that:

Bingo might win if Jimbo’s nervous system gets vulnerable and starts looking down Bingo’s face, feels very uncomfortable with her enchanting eyes, fair and soft skin, Close-up teeth, rosy lips and innocent but hot look just as Aishwarya Rai.

Jimbo might win if Bingo starts’ feeling it is so unfair to make a guy crying who is having hot eyes just as Hrithik roshan, smart as mahendra singh donny, smiles really cute as Brett lee.

Girls need to compromise

Compromises have become a must for girls working in industries such as modeling, cinema and even silver screen. No matter how much they are pretty, talented, experienced and popular; they need to compromise. Only the threshold level of compromising might differ person to person based on their level of popularity. Not all but at least a considerable percent of girls doesn’t like showing their bodies but they need to do this in order to survive in these industries. Further compromises have to be continued with camera men, directors, heroes and sometimes with producers. They get liquidated as they show much. Most of these girls’ parents even not knowing in what jobs their daughters are in. Fortunately from industries’ point of view most of the girls are from rural villages. They land in big cities with their dreamful eyes. So their only first aspiration is to make their heads known in those industries. When they start attending interviews only, their dreams get burden. For some who really care much about their reputation and discipline; it takes time to realize that they are nothing without compromises. Even if they don’t like, they have no other options. Most of situations don’t allow them going back to their villages since they have spent a lot for their transportations, albums, payments to photographers and preparations for interviews etc. So they don’t like returning to their homes with empty hands and to look at their innocent parents’ lost faces. This is the point where they start compromising at all. They don’t worry for appearing in front page of magazines topless. They have no care about their reputation, chastity and self esteem. They don’t worry for what will happen suppose if their children get chances at looking at their hot shots in future. These industries contain extreme percent of girls who are having a desecrated fate with large, poor families and owing the responsibility of educating their siblings and even to feed the whole family. Anyway other part of girls in these industries is from rich backgrounds and their only intention is gaining popularity. They belong to upper class families and they compromise nothing since their dads and mums have extreme influences in society. Anyway they only need popularity not even money and have no worries at their topless and shameless.

Valentine’s Day

I am writing quiet after a long time as I was really busy with my projects. When I thought of writing something, I really had no idea on what to write. But I thought it would be suitable in fact, if write something about ‘valentine’s day’ since we are not in that past from it. No wonder, the whole world had become reddish with bouquets of red roses, red heart balloons and small statues containing a nice girl and guy. It doesn’t matter whether you are having a valentine or not, you can enjoy the creative ideas on store decorations and other gift items. Though some argue, Valentine’s day is only beneficial for business people and ‘love’ is not a thing that can be celebrated or worshiped in one day; in my point of view, it still gives an opportunity to those who want to let their ‘love’ to someone, to relax and think what made misunderstanding between those who are broke up and to gain more enchantment from your soul-mate by giving surprise gifts. Celebrating a day for ‘love’ is not that harmful to disciplines of any culture. But what makes others (who don’t have a relationship) uncomfortable is the confusion of what to wear. Even if you wear a common dress; it becomes a sign of revealing something. Let’s say you are wearing a black T-Shirt. When you are going among your friends, you would really hear some voices or noises saying that ‘hey what story made you to wear this colour?’ Next thing is; whenever you switch on TV or whatever the media, you could be able to hear those penniless voices of some poor guys saying ‘I lost myself. I cannot live without her. She made my life spoil’. Who told you to loose yourself? I don’t know which dim-witted wrote this philosophy first ‘Failing in love equals failing in life’. Booking rooms at hotels on Valentine’s Day becomes the climax of celebration. But the sad thing is those room bookers having only ‘temporary relationships’ and this is the maximum way of mishandling the sacredness of this day. So celebrating a day for love is superior for those who really want to make relationships and who are in good relationships. But I actually want to ask why the hell people are misusing this day, celebrating it for something else and not (never) for ‘love’?

Religions and humanity

Humanity is a threshold level of characteristic that is expected from each human living in this planet. But nowadays, the ability of being humans with humanity is lessening among the world’s population. The primary reason for this behaviour could be due to people want more money and chasing behind it to gain all means to save their modern life cycles in which they are adequate whether they like it or not. There are also secondary reasons such as poverty, sick at overcoming Slavism, desire to dominate all others, vulnerabilities of some societies and persons and the advantages taken by others who are physically or financially or politically or socially stronger than them and long listed several etcs. What I mentioned here are only the reasons. But what is the idea behind believing in the concept that religions make peace in the minds of people, even if they can’t strengthen the point of humanity in their minds. I am not talking about god but am noticing the failing point of religions in keeping humans with humanity. You may say that all religions are against to sins and are focusing on creating a strict regulation of living. I do agree in that all religions teach us to go in the right path. But it is only like they are creating kind of fear in the minds of people. Each religion has at least one strict rule that is expected as a ‘must’ to be followed by the followers. What they mostly say is ‘if you don’t follow this, you will go to hell after your death’. So a fear is only created in the minds of followers and not peace. This is the failing point of religions. Humanity cannot be taught. This is just a feeling as you get hungry, thirsty, joy, irritation or whatever it is. Nothing will happen if you fail to have humanity unless it makes a doubt whether you are a human or not. Humanity is an important aspect of every living being that is identified as human on this earth. When you see some one who is suffering, you should automatically try to help as to the level you can. Failure of humanity starts when you start helping only to ensure that you are not making your god anger or just to refuse getting hell after death. This is why I say religions fail in the concept of keeping humans as humans.

Be confident in your decisions

Confident is the key to success. If you are hundred percent confident in whatever you want to do, you are absolutely blessed to do it. When you are hundred percent confident, you are benefited to foresee what your future is. You decide your own life and fate. You are living for yourself and not for those who might have disagreements with your policies, decisions and the way how you want to live. You may consider others’ advises. But decisions must be yours. Say, you made a wrong decision due to some others’ influences. When you get a bad result, you will have no means to regain whatever you missed. At times, you can’t even blame the persons who advised you to take those decisions as they might be very close to you and you will not want to break the relationship for a silly matter. Confident saves you out from unnecessary stress. Confident makes you to live as you like and reduces such pointless misunderstandings with others who criticize you. Then you get no means to blame them for your mistakes and it becomes a key point to increase your responsibility. At times, you might feel like you have really taken a wrong decision so what you learnt something from it. This learning makes excellency in your next decision. Confident creates an accurate pathway to success. It doesn’t mean that you need to be overconfident in something that is really hard for you to achieve. If you actually have a target that seems logical for you to achieve, then no worries, you are smart, you will achieve it.

Trueness in city life

Recently I went through some of Arundati Roy’s writings. She was born in a small village of Kerala.

“I think the kind of landscape that you grew up in, it lives in you. I don't think it's true of people who've grown up in cities so much, you may love building but I don't think you can love it in the way that you love a tree or a river or the colour of the earth, it's a different kind of love” Arundhati mentioned.

It is very true. Buildings do not make such long term emotional relationships. I still love the tree which was there in our home yard in which I used to study under its shadow during my school exams. I really loved to study in such a natural environment. Even though I left my hometown, I am living with the reminiscences of its environment. When I visited there last time, It was blessed me to visit some villages. The environment was such Greeny. Thus it made an opportunity to see those beautiful birds which I had never seen before. Each corner of the village had camera trees. So that I am still able feel the smell of them. What I could observe there is that people and the natural environment have a strong relationship. There lifestyle is based on environment. And the people were happy than us (who live in cities). It is because they are not chasing behind something that they don’t have. They don’t believe in money is the only factor that decides their lives. Even after I left from there, I am missing the trueness of the village life and those people’s true love. I feel love in city life is also just for fun, money and something else. It is very hard to find the trueness here. City friends are even like that. When they do meet, they start shaking, chatting and etcs to prove their companionship. When they go to other places, they find some other fun companions and that’s it, the meaning of friendship ends just with fun. City lives go only with saying ‘hi’s and byes. No one really knows who their spirit mate is.
