Without a meaning

I write quite after a long time. I feel my mind has gone for a sick. It doesn’t allow me to think about a topic specifically and write on it. I believe more than 30 years old Sri Lankan civil war has come to an end after a long time. But there is no conclusions yet. I can remember a statement which was said by some one ‘wars temporarily come to an end. But the reasons why they started still remain same.’

Civil war of Sri Lanka seems to be same. It took lags of people’s lives. Majority of population affected by this war became vulnerable to continue their lives in this planet. How many people went foreign countries as refugees? Most of them don’t see their relatives for years and years. I also worry about the resources other than people’s lives in North and East of Sri Lanka. Jaffna is known for calmera trees. But it is very hard to find these trees nowadays. Majority of calmera trees were destroyed in military operations.

A war doesn’t affect only human beings. It affects animals, birds, small living beings and even the whole land. This is what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Think of youth who wasted their talents in war. They could have become leaders of any field. This war did not give a meaning for the people who lost their lives within last 35 years. We live in a world that doesn’t give a meaning for our lives. There is no meaning for deaths, fights, blood and even tears.
