Affirmations really work if you are looking for a change

I enjoy reading EBooks mostly in the fields of psychology and business. Yesterday I had some time and just spent a several minutes on reading an excellent EBook titled ‘Using affirmations for positive change’ written by anon writer. It is true ‘affirmations really work for change’. If you are looking for a change in life, then using affirmations will truly help you in doing this. Here I am just mentioning the information and the exercise provided in the book on how to use affirmations. Simple theory behind affirmations is ‘your thoughts reflect your behaviour and your behaviour changes your character’. Whenever you want change on a specific thing, you should raise positive vibrations on it. Let’s imagine you are fat and want to loose your weight. Then you should tell your conscious mind ‘I am slim and fit’. But on every occasion you looking at the mirror you feel like it is not true and therefore it is further stimulating a major doubt on it. Therefore it is better to say ‘I am becoming slim and fit’ and your conscious mind will have no means to doubt about it. Then you should repeat the positive verses several times a day. After a few months (obviously not days as it takes time) your conscious mind will start to transform this affirmation to subconscious mind. After that you will be able to see positive results on how affirmations work. The important things you must consider when practicing affirmations for change are; it is always essential to use positive verses (Ex: saying ‘I am becoming intelligent rather than saying I am not a fool’) and also it is better to use present tense (Ex: saying ‘I am becoming happy rather than saying I will be happy’) and most importantly you should believe what you are saying is true. If you think ‘this will never work’ then there is no point in wasting your time on it. Using Affirmations is just like programming you in a right way. So they work better. Next we will have a look at how they work. ‘Your mum rewarded you every time you did good things in your life by giving you chocolates. So you feel like rewarding whenever you eat chocolates since eating chocolates is connected as a reward in your subconscious mind.’ Thus eating chocolates may make you happy but this behaviour is not healthy if you are trying to loose your weight. So if this is how your subconscious mind influences your behaviour, then why you still have doubt in that you can change yourself by using affirmations. But the only thing here is that you should believe in ‘mind is the best and incomparable tool that influences yourself and therefore stimulating successes and failures of your life’.

The traditional five lands in Tamil literature

Tamil literature is almost based on traditional five lands which represent different lifestyles for each land. What I mentioned as lifestyle is ‘how they got means for their lives and the love contributed to their lifestyles’. Here love refers to the affection and romance between husband and wife and between lovers. First one is the ‘land representing people who lived in and near to mountain areas’. These people had made ‘animals’ as the only mean of living. Girls had pretty enough guys and the life was joyful for those who lived in this land. The second land is dedicated to people who lived near to forests. Since this land had no other options, men joined in territory force groups and soldier services and they were brave wealthy. Thus women in this land always desecrated to wait until their partners return to home. Most occasions were; some returned to home and some were not. Most important thing I must mention here is that there were celebrations for soldiers who returned with victory and meantime entombments also were arranged for those who died in wars. The third land is dedicated for people who lived in and near to sea. So their prime mean of life was ‘fishing and boating’. Men had to spend major part of their lives in sea. Here women spent on waiting for men in seashore until they come back from sea. The fourth land is dedicated to people who lived in park lands so their mean of living was ‘Agriculture and harvesting’. Husband and wife relationship was very strong and they had deep love while people in this land were naturally wealthy as they had no obstacles in gaining and saving wealth with their paddy fields. The fifth land is dedicated to people who lived near to deserts. So these people who lived near to wastelands had no means in finding meals and making their lives. Thus they started mugging from voyagers and from people who lived in other lands. At this juncture, the life was uncertain and women had to worry about whether their husbands had caught or attacked by someone.

Why men are so selfish?

I believe men are so selfish and lazy. I know it is not suitable for all but at least a few of you reading this piece may think it is you. Here the issue is why men are not helping their wives in kitchens. Is there any logic behind this? If you try to escape from me by saying ‘women are good at cooking’ then what about those guys who cook in restaurants? In this fast moving world, it is a must for both men and women to work hard in order to make their lives happy. But I don’t know why men are still thinking kitchens are only dedicated to women. Husbands always try to prison their wives in the kitchens. Earlier days most of the husbands had made the culture as a weapon of escaping from the question of why they are not helping their wives in the kitchens. Anyhow this is never going to be a valid reason for escaping. What I think of why husbands (Not all) are still not helping in the kitchens is because they feel it will spoil their image. Major percentage of men is thinking that their wives are given to cook for them. This perception is absolutely right from an idiot’s point of view. What is the point of being just a man if a woman can earn, cook, care well her family and do all work? I proudly (as I am also a young woman) say we are in a ‘women leading world’ since women remain first at all fields including sports, business, education, military and fashion etc. So a woman is both mentally and physically more powerful than a man. But most terrible part here is that men still want to dominate women by perceiving that they are the best.

Here I am listing what girls are not

Not robots
To make them to do whatever you want

Not chewing gums,
To chew

Not micro awns,
To cook fast and taste
Not angels
To give you all what you like

Finally
Girls are girls
They can’t be any other

Innovation vs capital

Huge capital requirements remain the prime barrier of entering into some specific industries. Thus larger capital requirements result in a huge structure and creates a negative perception on those who are not that financially fit. Starting a business was almost a dream for guys who had unworthy pockets. But nowadays, those business dreams become real with the increased demand for virtual organizations. How many of us know the locations of those organizations which are reaching near to billions and trillions in revenue? Other than the virtual structure, offline businesses also seem to become positive on the view of persons who want to invest in low capital. The most important reason for this change would be because of the positive changes in the customers’ attitudes toward looking for innovative products. ‘Try it new’ products play well in consumer markets and soon they vanish. This is for the reason that customers want to try new things everyday. There is also an issue concerning to this kind of behaviour of customers which is ‘loyalty for products come down but brands may achieve more’. At the current era, guys who want to start a new business seek to invest in innovations rather than locking them in a huge capital. But in some specific industries capital is a must to even introduce innovations. At the same time some businesses require less than a few hundred dollars as capital and they gain much in revenue. If you are an innovative software programmer then you need a computer, applications and a network so then easily you can start to sell it online. So the requirement for huge amount of assets and capital come down and ‘innovative and creative ideas’ become a must to do businesses especially in the fields such as marketing, media and other arts industries. New Medias such as ‘blogs and podcasting’ would be absolute examples for those fields that always seek ‘very less capital and high innovation’.

Exam ghosts

I am having an exam next week. Though the subject is not that tuff, I feel quiet exited. But I think it is calmly ok comparing to those who suffer with exam fevers. I know an exam is not the end of life. Well, no one will want to fail. But in case if I do fail, I won’t bother it too much. Who knows? next exam may be a fortune. There are days in which I had a serious doubt in a question. ‘Is it true that all who get merits in exams are succeeding in their life?’ The answer might be yes or no or at times depends. Anyhow I agree that exams are the opportunities of proving our intellectuality and conceptuality. But I recognize some persons who are practically intellectual but are missing to prove themselves in exams. Guys who believe in the concept of ‘practicality’ are not much concerned about the conceptualities of subjects. I have no experience in my life at any situation where I used a theory which I studied in school. Simple logical question behind success or failure of an exam would be ‘Did I use my knowledge in a right way at the moment when I wrote the exam?’ If the answers is yes then the result would be favour, if not you may have to prepare yourself to face a bad result. But remember, the result comes only for a few hours in which you had written the exam. So you can’t expect the same in the life also. You could be confused in the hours in which you did the exam. But that confusion will not continue for the whole life.

Four reasons for why home is better than your office and two reasons for why office is better than home

Reason one: If you are married, your wife or If not your mum will not bark that as your boss barks when you are late.

Reason two: Your Company can hire another guy easily when you say leaving. There is nothing special in you. But you are special at your home.

Reason three: You don’t have to jail yourself with full sleeved shirts, ties and pairs of shoos.

Reason four: You might be a hot dog at your home but in office, you should be quiet. Otherwise your name will be renamed as a famous ‘hot dog or cat’. .

Reasons for why your office is better:

Reason one: If you don’t like your company then simply you can leave from there. But you have no means to escape from your home. It is fixed and you have to be there even if you don’t like.

Reason two: Your boss might crazily believe in your reputation. But it is not possible at your home. They know you well.

So obviously home is better comparing to the office since there are two more valid reasons for it.

Good or Bad?

Any action or thing has two sides. One side will be beneficial and other one would be discourage able. A strong culture is used as a component of measuring the development of a society. Culture helps to unify a nation or a group of people. In earlier days, organizations looked to hire employees from a unique culture considered to reduce the conflicts and improving the team work. But this practice is almost nowhere in the world with the increasing demand for multinational companies. These multinational companies had introduced the concept of ‘multiculturalism’. The reason for why a group of people always disagree with ‘globalization and multiculturalism’ would be because they have killed the uniqueness of cultures. Globalization has leaded to a situation where some cultures dominating all others. The countries that are economically and politically very strong seem to dominate the global village. Disputers say that ‘the concept of global village might be beneficial for well developed countries. But it is not always beneficial from the developing nations’ view’. But globalization may be a best solution for the societies who are fighting against Slavism. When we see the world as one country, there will be no discrepancies and inequalities in the world. But is it practically true? Practicality of this concept is questionable. Anyhow globalization would let each person to consume products according to the global standards. It further stimulates the concepts of ‘mass customization’ and ‘Just in Time production’ and therefore influencing benefits for both producers and customers on the business view. The exact example for globalization would be
‘A frog lives inside a pod. Later it moves to a sea. So obviously There will be enough food and the life will be more than better from what it really expected. But there will be big crocodiles. So the frog has huge benefits and at the same time it faces huge dangers.’
